The Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ
March 4, 2006
Show Review By Kristin
The show was packed with a diversity of fans ranging from
metal, emo, screamo- you name it and someone there was representing it with
pride. The crowd was anticipating the arrival of As I Lay Dying so they were
anticipating going out to the lobby and getting a beer for they didn't want to
miss this bands astonishing performance. The few that did brave the 10-15
minute wait came flying back into the show, pretzels flying and cups dropping
everywhere as soon as they heard front man Tim's Lambesis humongous voice fill
the Tweeter Center commanding your attention- whether you wanted to or not there
was no choice you were compelled to watch this bands electro-charged
performance.
Jordan Mancino, with his long blond hair whipping his face pounded those
drums with a brutal, thunderous intensity that truly stupified me. How he could
make something so laborish look so simple, he played with such ease. They say
everyone has the niche in life and drums is unquestionably his. Then my personal
favorite "The Darkest Nights" came on and people were going crazy. I watched as
guys and gals thrashed around in the mosh pit, while others pumped their fists
and banged their heads. You people need to check out the rest of the Taste Of
Chaos tour dates for when it'll be in your city so you can make sure you catch
this merciless band in action.
