MTV2's Headbanger's Ball Tour
Featuring: Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, Lamb Of God & Unearth

On October thirty first in 2003 on Halloween night The Headbangers Ball was at the Worcester Palladium located in Worcester, Massachussetts. The  three out of the four bands were local. Killswitch Engage, Shadow's Fall and Lamb Of God. The only unlocal band was Unearth.

Unearth started off the show. They  setup a brutal mosh pit from the beggining. A band that reminds me of  the likes of Chimaira. The band has all the energy a metal band should  have.  The second band to play was Killswitch Engage. They were all dressed up  in  Halloween outfits.  Made a Halloween show more entertaining.  They  started playing and the crowd became a wave.  You couldn't stand still, couldn't breathe. When they started playing "To The Son's Of Man" the crowd became a grenade site. Was like a bomb blew up and everyone was running for there lives in the pit. They are an incredible band. Keeping metal alive in  New England.  From that point on, the venue got more and more packed  as we all  anticipated Shadows Fall.  Next up was Lamb Of God.  And everyone was ready  for them.  Everyone had there devil horns up before they even started  playing.  They started off with the song "Ruin".  A song from there  album  titled As The Palaces Burn.  They have about three heavy ass albums out.  They are another band that is keeping metal alive in New England.  The pit  was all into them.  Crowd surfing, beer drinking, pot smoking fans bash against each other for Lamb Of God's whole set. "Eleventh Hour", another song from As The Palaces Burn, set the pit off.  The drums in every song  are sick.  But this song was like a machine gun going off.  They played about eight songs, mostly from there latest album, As  The  Palaces Burn. After Lamb Of God's set it was Shadows Fall's time to stand up on stage. Shadows Fall played most of there latest songs from The Art Of  Balance.  The song that made everyone blow up was "Stepping Outside The Circle".  It started riots throughout the pit.

Overall I believe, most people came to see Killswitch Engage and Lamb Of God.  The show was brutal,  the venue was packed from the bar to the floor. The show couldn't have been any better.
