An Intimate Evening with KTU Featuring Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony & Donna Summer

It was an intimate evening with KTU featuring Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, and Donna Summer.  The show started promptly at 8:00 p.m.

Ricky Martin sprung from the revolving door at the back of the set looking hot as always and fully energized.  He performed some Spanish songs from his newly released album, Almas Del Slencio along with “She Bangs” where he danced with his leg up in the air and shaking his tush that had the audience going wild.  He was high energy throughout the entire performance of about an hour.

Marc Anthony was second to come out and looked absolutely emaciated and SUCKED!  His voice was not projecting and he did only 3 or 4 songs and walked off the stage.  A major disappointment!

The one and only, Donna Summer was closing the show.  Before she came out, there was a big tribute to her on the screen with Bette Midler, Britney Spears and others.  Donna opened her set with jokes and busted into “Enough is Enough”.  The set included “She works hard for the money”, a new song “Beautiful” and she closed with “Last Dance”.  She seemed to speak more than perform.  She promoted her new book, Ordinary Girl: The Journey and her CD Ordinary Girl She looked absolutely phenomenal.  The audience was amazing!  Everyone was dancing in the aisles.

The whole night was very intimate including the venue.  I do feel Ricky Martin stole the show.  He got more reaction from the audience and his energy level and the tenderness of his voice left you speechless.  I was in complete awe!  He is completely enthusiastic and full of life, not to mention absolutely gorgeous!  His voice makes the blood pump through your veins.  Although I was disappointed that Ricky Martin did not include “Shake Your Bon Bon” in his set, I was blown away by his performance.  He accomplished a great mixture of Spanish and English songs as well as new and old songs.  Marc Anthony—as I said before SUCKED, let’s move on!  Donna Summer—absolutely phenomenal.  I would definitely see her and Ricky Martin again!
