Sebastian Bach

Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA 11.12.2006

You can always count on Sebastian Bach for a little laugh...a great show...and a rocking night!   As he states during his gig it is "my show" with a cute little smile and he does what he wants and when he wants.  Tonight was no exception.

I was very excited to see my fellow "Jerseyan" perform with his latest band consisting of Metal Mike Chlasciak and Johnny Chromatic on guitar, Steve DiGiorgio on bass and Bobby Jarzombek on drums. Sebastian Bach has been with many great musicians and I have to admit tonight he was with an extremely tight band

Sebastian opened the night with one downfall, "Slave To The Grind".  Come on Bas, there are so many other songs that can set the mood and this song is just played out for the opening number.  The set continued on with old and new tunes.  It was nice to hear some freshness.  "Stuck Inside" was pretty catchy and I found myself singing along before the song was half way through.  "Piece Of Me" always a fave.  "You Don't Understand" and "By Your Side" were my two favorite new tunes.  Both were easy to remember and you definitely found the crowd singing along.  The smiles on Sebastian's face were amazing as he saw the crowd truly digging the new stuff.

Through out the show and in between the mic swinging, Sebastian talked about downloading and how his next CD is going to be on some label such as Verizon or T-Mobile as that is how we get our music these days.  After his jokes about the cell phones, the venue security rips a cell phone out of a fans hand that was recording the show.  Sebastian finishes the song and immediately orders the security to give back the cell phone. Just after he starts the next song, another guy from the venue security confiscates another persons cell phone and Sebastian being the person that he is, takes the cell phone from security and records himself singing into the camera.  What a moment for that lucky fan.  Of course Sebastian does not condone the recording of his shows, but he appreciates his fans loyalty and would not allow them to lose their cell phones.  Can you imagine the headlines if he didn't have the security return the cell phones?  From seeing Sebastian around fans and celebrities, I've noticed that he is a fan himself and can relate to his fans in several ways.  These incidents prove that.

This front man can not be topped.  He gets the crowd jumping, throwing their fists in the air and singing along to every song new or old.  It was another Sebastian Bach show that I will not forget.  The man seems to make each show a little different and a whole lot more rocking!  Always an awesome show.  Whether you liked him before, like him now,  or don't know of him, you MUST check him out.  He is the most amazing front man you will ever encounter.

Sebastian Bach is currently on tour with Guns N' Roses and have some headline shows in between.  Check out www.sebastianbach.com for all updates and show dates.  You can also check the new songs out at www.myspace.com/sebastianblog !  You can view the photos of this show here!
