Dominating sound courses thru you as Burning Skies CD "Desolation" blares
in the background of your work place allowing you to release some of that pent
up aggression and aggravation. This band is ferocious like a lion attacking his
prey ripping it to shreds then snarling with bloody jagged teeth. 2002 was when
it all began in Bristol, The West Country United Kingdom. After everything was
settled with the line up, the band was ready to move forward and claim their
place in the Death Metal scene with their drums that sounds like rapid gun fire
being fired at you.
Burning Skies spent 8 enjoyable days at Rape Of Harmonies in Triptis
Germany recording the new CD and cite that it blows their last CD out of the
water. If you don't trust me enough to go run out and buy "Desolation" you can
head over to Lifeforce Records to get a preview of what it's all about. You
can't beat that...try before you buy!
Some howls and screeches guide you thru this madness so reach out and try and
find something to grab a hold while you feel your way out of this creepy dark
infested cave. "RKD" comes straight from the pits of hell, it comes out swinging
violently to grip you up and throw your ass clear across the room. It's a song
that starts out so heavy with no warning it just gets straight to the point, it
was one of my favorites off this album.
The song that I can get enough of is "Caught in The Circle", it gets you
bobbing back and forth in your chair
within the first few chords. The tempo picks up and it's on. "Damaged" has you
heading out to the pit with your shit kicking boots on and hailing Burning Skies
with your horns held high! This CD was like a ride on an upside down roller
coaster, you get a rush to the head and the adrenaline pumping thru you like a
race horse.
